Channel Marketing Manager (Canada)

We are currently recruiting for a CHANNEL MARKETING MANAGER to join our Hamilton Sales Team. This is a new position and is ideally suited for a recent graduate in Marketing or Business. Primary Responsibilities:
As a Channel Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for designing, developing and executing revenue generating marketing programs worldwide that build Company and product awareness and grow brand loyalty.

You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to support and accelerate all channel activities on a global basis. You will be directly responsible for joint marketing programs, partner launch activities, event management, sales promotions, communications and product marketing, and the global channel marketing budget.

This position reports to the Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads the strategy and execution of marketing communications which may include public relations, consumer and trade promotions, Company events, webinars, trade shows, direct mail, web site, internet and social media, collateral, and advertising
  • Promotes FELLFAB® through web based technologies which may include social media, industry blogs, and website redesigns
  • Represents the Company at trade shows by introducing new customers to FELLFAB®, our products, and our capabilities
  • Supports product launches
  • Identifies opportunities to leverage and extend brand-differentiating attributes
  • Leads brand merchandising and point of sale initiatives
  • Develops and maintains all creative elements related to the brand including packaging, collateral and Point of Purchase (POP) marketing and ensures brand consistency
  • Develops marketing plans and executes programs based on market research, analysis and customer data
  • Monitors program effectiveness by designing and implementing metrics to quantify revenue generated from programs executed in the channel
  • Evaluates opportunities based on the consistency with overall business goals and marketing strategies, as well as the financial return on investment (ROI), brand synergy, and potential impact/visibility
  • Meets with key customers to understand segment and channel needs; works with the channel to develop and execute co-marketing programs and events, and conducts routine field visits to ensure marketing tools are being interpreted correctly
  • Segments and maintains the customer database to support marketing initiatives
  • Must be able to travel globally (note: travel will be minimal in year 1 but will increase as the position becomes more established)

  • Must be creative with an ability to utilize various marketing mediums
  • Must have strong leadership and influencing skills with an ability to drive change
  • Must have strong project management skills and be able to prioritize tasks with competing deadlines
  • Must have excellent communication and listening skills and be able to interact with Executive Management, Senior Management, existing customers, and new business contacts

 

Definite Assets:

  • Previous marketing experience with Transportation, Military and/or Industrial products
  • Previous experience and/or knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 standards

Education and Work History:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing or Business
  • 1-3 years of progressive brand and channel marketing experience which may include co-op work terms or placements
