Description
The MK 2 Mountain tent has just enough living space for 2 big people with lofty winter bags. The floor is 54" wide and 88" long with 45" of headroom at the apex. The two Easton 7075 .340 poles are set up in a cross-over format on the inside of the tent and held in place by 9 locking velcro tabs.There are tunnel vents high up on each side wall for extra ventilation, external tie points 1/3 the way up each pole seam. The 40" high door has an external integrated, zippered no-see-um netting screen. The door is weather protected at the top by a wire stiffened eyebrow peak which allows the top of the door to be 1/3 unzipped for weather protected ventilation. The MK 2's parabolic shape can withstand considerable winds if set up with the rear end facing the direction of the wind. An optional zip on/off vestibule is available for extra gear storage and cooking space - a vestibule zipper and vestibule pole attachment grommets are pre-installed on the MK 2.

Fully seam-taped Trilaminate ePTFE body fabric. 6 x 6" Easton light weight tubular aluminum stakes, four 10-foot lengths of 2.2mm cord and a tube of SeamGrip.
