We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to support our Forest Park, Georgia location.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the successful applicant will manage operational and strategic Human Resources aspects within FELLFAB CORPORATION to ensure adherence and compliance to employment-related statutes and regulations and to ensure consistent and standardized Human Resources practices.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Ensure a strategic approach to Human Resources Management ensuring that the HR department contributes to the operating success of the company.
- Administration of the benefit program including disability claims.
- Manage training plans and budgets to support continuous learning, skills development, succession planning initiatives and regulatory requirements.
- Manage hourly recruitment efforts to support production requirements and reduce turnover.
- Assist with salaried recruitment efforts.
- Manage internal communications to ensure information is communicated consistently to all employees.
- Provide backup for FELLFAB CORPORATION payroll and to ensure compliance with all legal requirements under the law as it pertains to employment.
- Manage the Health and Safety program to ensure compliance as it related to health, safety and the environment.
- Provide backup support to office administration.
- Other duties as required.
Educational, Work History Requirements:
- University degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or relevant equivalent work experience.
- SHRM Certification preferred.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Abilities Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience within a manufacturing environment
- An in-depth knowledge of Human Resources programs, policies and practices within the United States
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with an ability to deliver complex information to a very diverse audience
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and documentation
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership capabilities
