Day and Night Shifts Available

Shift: Day shift (7:00am – 3:30pm), Afternoon shift (4:00pm – 12:30am)

• To be able to tear down old existing seat cushions and upholster with new foam and cover
• Inspection of pans to insure in good condition and all clips are there, it not, they are replaced with new ones.
• All in-transit panels replaced with new onto existing pans.
• Install cover by upholstering it onto form and pan with attaching pull down straps to pan with canoe clips, all pull down straps should be evenly done to assure cover appearance. Also attaching the cover gussets to pan with either hot glue or canoe clips.
• Be able to lift and handle to 25lbs consistently on a daily basis to move around finish product for upholstering / boxing.
• Perform all job functions in a safe manner
• Perform all job functions focusing on product quality and continuous improvement
• Know and work to Plant Rules and Safety Procedures.
• Communicate with Supervisor concerns of material, machines or operators.
• Notify Manager of all accidents and safety concerns.
• Have all team members follow safety rules and plant rules.
• Verifies quality standards on finished components.
• Participate on continuous improvement projects
• Participate on technical problem solving
• Be a part of the 6S culture
• Assure associate is working to cost cutting ideas, technical problem solving, and continues improvements projects
• Have all employees work to the OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and WHIMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) Act along with Company Plant Rules.
• Ensure housekeeping is orderly and maintained.
• Report and records all accidents and/or incidents.
• Know and work to quality standards.
• Identify quality concerns to Supervisor or Plant Manager and Quality Manager or department.
• Work in the development of continuous improvement
• Work to standards as identified in the ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Program
• Assist in corrective actions as required.
• Other tasks, including special projects, and/or other responsibilities may be added at the discretion of each Manager

• Proficiency using hands and keen eye for detail
• Experience in upholstery helpful, but not required
• Must be able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Great attitude, open minded, attendance a must

• This position requires standing for long periods of time
• This position requires some manually lifting up to 25 pounds
• Previous experience with textiles and/or manufactured fabric products would be an asset
