On Sunday, March 26,th 2017, Team FELLFAB® participated in the Around the Bay 5k Race in Support of St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH). The Team of 29 walkers or runners worked hard to achieve the Team fundraising goal of $5000.
Team FELLFAB® was able to raise $9,981.00 total.
All funds raised through the Around the Bay Road Race are put towards St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton. The donations are used to purchase life-saving equipment, fund vital healthcare research and provide enhance extra comfort and care for patients.
This is the third year that FELLFAB® has participated in the Around the Bay Road Race. Each year it becomes a bigger event within the company. FELLFAB Limited hosted a variety of fundraising events for their employees, including; bake sales, 50/50 draws and more to help meet the fundraising goal. Employees showed support by giving back to the Hamilton community they live and work in.
Race day was a great event for FELLFAB® employees, as well the Hamilton Community. The 5k race kicked off at 9:45 am, with over 2000 runners/walkers participating. After the race, all participants were greeted by Don Fell (Founder of FELLFAB®) and friend, Lino Salciccioli. They served coffee and donuts for the team to enjoy.
