Description
The Siltarp 2 is an extremely versatile 8 ft x 10 ft rectangular tarp made from ultralight waterproof nylon. The 30 denier parachute ripstop nylon with silicon impregnation weighs only 1.35 oz per sq yd. It is incredibly strong and resilient. It is designed for groups of 2-3 people looking for a lightweight tent awning, wind shelter or gear storage shelter. It offers 80 ft square (7.5sq m) of coverage, at 14oz (400g) it is light enough to take on all trips.
The Siltarp has 16 lightweight webbing tie loops sewn on the corners and edges, and one reinforced loop in the center. The loops facilitate the number of different set ups. The Sil Tarp 2 has a seam down the centre, which requires manual seam sealing.
